Was Kim Richards Fired From Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills?

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 4 and “Vanderpump Rules” season 2 Cross-over premiere

With ratings for this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills not that impressive (especially compared to their Real Housewives of Atlanta counterparts), Bravo is ready to do a recast.

Unsurprisingly the first name on the chopping block is Kim Richards. We've heard this rumor before and last season it was even stated that Kim was actually demoted to a supporting character but when Bravo was unable to find a third new lady willing to join they promoted her back to Housewives status. Unfortunately this season Kim's storyline is all about a dog and that is not grabbing viewers' interest!

Now a source tells Radar Online that this season will be Kim's last. “The network is not entirely happy with the ratings for the current season of Beverly Hills and sadly, despite being Paris Hilton‘s aunt, she has little going on in her life,” a production source says.

Kim may have a future storyline when one of her children undergoes a mental health breakdown – its uncertain whether or not that will be included in the show.

While most viewers wouldn't miss Kim much on the show, one person is really unhappy that Kim could be potentially fired: Kyle Richards! "As you can imagine, Kyle is very unhappy about Bravo’s plans," the source reveals. "She has made no secret of that fact that she’ll threaten to quit if her sister is fired.” We all know Kyle would never quit (cough, cough famewhore!)

Kyle's motivation is money. The show is the "only steady income that Kim has and Kyle doesn’t want to financially support her again,” the source explains. Makes sense to me!

The source shares that Bravo is actively looking for replacements at the moment and they want ladies who will bring the Beverly Hills flare! “They could be looking for at least two new housewives for the next season. In any event, producers will be looking for ladies with over the top lifestyles, who bring the drama. The BrandiJoyce feud is really the only storyline so far this season that the audience is engaging with.”

Well we shouldn't get too excited because a source tells Rumor Fix the rumors of Kim being fired are complete nonsense.

Hmmm… Radar is usually uncannily accurate when it comes to RHOBH so I wouldn't be surprised if they had this one right!
