Marlo Hampton is a famewhore of the first order, but she insists some of her television friendships are still real. After breaking up with NeNe Leakes in a dramatic fashion, Marlo hitched her wagon to the ever-tricky Kenya Moore and a match made in frienemy heaven was born! Although Marlo clarifies they are not besties
Despite moving on, Marlo says she still wants answers from NeNe on how things went wrong between them. And she feels used and abused by the Real Housewives of Atlanta star.
“I don’t feel I could have done anything different…I’m not a child. I can talk to who I want to talk to. I can be friends with who I want to be friends to as long as I’m loyal to you,” Marlo informed Sister2Sister. “I do definitely feel the fans do deserve to hear both sides. I would like to definitely sit down and talk to [NeNe]. They deserve to see what’s really going on. I wanna ask her myself. I’m confused. I really don’t understand."

Marlo says her friendship with Kenya formed naturally and at the time she had no idea there was "bad blood" between NeNe and Kenya. When the two met in the vineyard, “It was just good energy,” Marlo explains.
“I invited her to the BCBG fashion show. NeNe was coming with me originally, but she wasn’t getting into New York until the next day. While we were there at the vineyard, I said, ‘Kenya, I invited NeNe to come with me to the BCBG fashion show in New York, but if she can’t make it, can you come and join me…?’ NeNe wasn’t able to make it. I texted Kenya, and she met me there," Marlo recalls.
Unfortunately shortly after she talked to NeNe who was furious that Marlo and Kenya were hanging out. Marlo clarifies the fashion show happened before the Pillow Talk party where the two first fought. “It wasn’t like they were enemies; they talked. When I went to the fashion show, come to find out [it] was a problem."
Marlo feels there is no reason why she can't be friends with both NeNe and Kenya. “As long as Kenya doesn’t know any of your personal business within your household or that you share with me or me talking about you to Kenya with anything personal, there should be no problem, no issue.”
Unfortunately as we well know, NeNe disagrees! The two recently communicated and it went badly. “It ended with, ‘Don’t call me anymore. You’re blocked,’ from both of us.”
Marlo believes at the end of the day their friendship was never sincere and NeNe was just taking advantage of her all along. “I feel like I’ve been used; I really do. I was angry, but I’m hurt about it, too,” Marlo insists. Believing NeNe was using her for styling. “When you felt I wasn’t marching to your beat, it’s a problem.”
Marlo won't reveal if she makes an appearance at the not-yet-filmed reunion, but something tells me NeNe really doesn't care to hash things out with Marlo anymore. After all she's moved on to bigger and better things – like Dancing With The Stars! She'll be cashing those ABC checks!
