NeNe Leakes has never been one to shy away from throwing a little shade. We can always count on the Real Housewives of Atlanta star to tell us exactly how it is. And in a new interview, NeNe tells us exactly who should and should not be her castmates and just how rich is this bitch?
“Some of the girls are not Georgia peaches and the show is called the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Georgia,” said NeNe, who, along with Phaedra Parks is from Athens, Georgia.
True point, but it is also called ‘Housewives’ when many of the girls are single……

NeNe is obviously talking about Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey and newbie Claudia Jordan who are the ones not from Georgia. But, producers seem to like them because according to the previews for the new season, those three are bringing the drama. Kenya obviously creates her own drama, Cynthia is burning her friendship contract with NeNe and all I have heard about Claudia is not good. So Georgia or not, they are what producers want.
But what about NeNe’s girl Porsha Williams whose role on the Real Housewives of Atlanta was just downgraded? “Porsha is a real Georgia peach,” said NeNe. “She’s a friend to the show. I like Porsha. I think Porsha’s sweet. I don’t think Porsha’ an evil person, and we do have evil people on the show.”
So just how much is NeNe being paid this season to hang out with ‘evil people?” Reports are circling that NeNe is now the highest paid Bravolebrity, raking in $1.5 million for the new season.
But NeNe scoffs at that number. “That doesn’t sound serious enough for an old girl like me. So, the number is wrong,” she said. “The number isn’t right. It’s wrong. It is a very wrong number.”
While speaking with Extra she implied that she’s earning more than that. “I was not offered $1.5; let’s be clear,” she said. “Yeah, it’s a lot nicer than that.”
Whatever the number, what we really need to remember is that NeNe Leakes is “rich bitch!” (One of my favorite NeNe lines of all-time!)
