Andy Cohen

Andy Cohen has done it again. After weeks of speculation ab0ut the reasoning behind the demotion of Porsha Williams from full-time housewife on the Real Housewives of Atlanta to “Friend of the Housewives,” the Housewives-head-honch0 gives us a complete definitive answer.

And, despite what you may have th0ught, it actually has nothing to do with her beat-down of costar Kenya Moore at last season’s reunion show.

“It had nothing to do with anything that happened at the reunion last season,” Andy tells his assistant Daryn. “Really, it was about the amount of story we got from Porsha this season. We went into it assuming she would be a full Housewife, holding a peach. We just haven’t gotten enough to merit that. She’s going to be in it a lot. We love her. I hope she’ll be on Bravo endlessly.”

Well, we shall see about that. Porsha seems to have used the Real Housewives of Atlanta as a jump-off to a career in radio and TV, so she may not need to be showcased on Bravo anymore.

Too bad, because she is actually from Georgia, which costar NeNe Leakes thinks should be a major consideration when casting the show.

The season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres Nov 9 8/7c

TELL US! WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT PORSHA’S DEMOTION? DO YOU BELIEVE THAT IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH HER FIGHT WITH KENYA?
