Hmmm… is it me or does Lisa Vanderpump seem to be backpedaling a bit? After openly calling out Yolanda Foster for discrepancies, Lisa’s blog seems to treat the Lyme-afflicted Yolanda with kid gloves. Let’s hope that treatment is also holistic, and organic, and from Whole Foods!
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star begins by reacting to Lisa Rinna and Kathryn Edwards‘ discussion about Kim Richards‘ sobriety. Lisa reminds us that although Lipsa’s frustration was justified, her “hands weren’t clean either.”
“Bitter words were voiced against Kim from Rinna calling her a rabid dog, which is hard to compute. It’s a year later, Kim has made great headway…” insists Lisa. “Kyle’s loyalty to her sister will supersede any wish to be involved in negativity. That is why she left the table and, as a friend, I dutifully followed.” Maybe Lipsa was having difficulty separating Kim’s behaviors from Kingsley’s?

Lisa also calls Kathryn’s defense of Kim “admirable” and expressions compassion for all that Kathryn has overcome regarding her father’s suicide.
Describing the dinner she had with Erika Girardi and her husband Tom as “full of playful banter,” Lisa is full of praise for Tom in general – even though he compared her to a swamp-dwelling ancient reptile! “I was amused by him, especially when he chastised Erika, ‘Erika go to your room.’ It was a first for me, but even funnier was the way she capitulated when he chided her for interrupting. I have to say I enjoy him immensely, however this alligator will snap if provoked…LOL.”
Finally Lisa addresses the most challenging issue of the episode – Yolanda’s Lyme Disease and her confrontation with Lipsa over the ‘Maunchausen’ accusation. “The subject of Munchausens raises its ugly head…a head that needs to be decapitated once and for all,” advises Lisa.
Weighing in on both Yoladna’s vehement reaction, and Lipsa’s defense of her own behavior LVP seems to be Team Rinna 100%, but afraid to voice that – is she perhaps softening her tone towards Yolanda out of deference to her friendship with Mohamed Hadid, because frankly Yolanda is HORRIBLE to LVP this episode (and last episode), but also on WWHL, on twitter, and in her epic blogs.
Explains Lisa, “Hypothetically, if I was in Yolanda’s Louboutins, I would have a degree of anger, which was justified and also was encouraging to see. The fighting spirit is never a bad thing. It assured me she is getting stronger, and if I had been immersed in a debilitating state for months and people were doubting me, I would be pissed.” Shade, or support from LVP?
Yet – Lisa is still puzzled by “inconsistencies that were confusing” regarding Yolanda’s behavior. “I absolutely recall her running a marathon that she initiated, barely being able to catch her, I remember her driving home, so the disease obviously ebbs and flows, which is the baffling part. Now I stress I am not doubting, but it’s mystifying as we witness it, to say the least.” Indeed.
Referring to Yolanda’s “tirade” against Lipsa, Lisa acknowledges “I feebly tried to defend Rinna” but it was a losing battle. LVP says Lipsa’s Munchausen speculation was “wrong and insensitive” but Lisa felt there was no reason not to defend her friend. “What is the point of me chastising her she was only too aware of that fact and was full of remorse,” asks LVP.
“Rinna had regret undoubtedly. She was guilty of ‘labeling’ Yolanda, but in actuality, Rinna had repeated idle gossip that has been manifested from months of people witnessing sick selfies,” reminds LVP. “When one constantly posts on social media it becomes a feast for all. I understand Yolanda wants to draw attention to this insidious disease, but unfortunately that will provoke speculation.”
“We all make mistakes and as we view these episodes months after hopefully we can learn from them…” Lisa concludes in her Bravo blog.
