I was full of emotions watching the latest episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
It was so heartbreaking watching Teresa Giudice and her four daughters praying in that bed after Joe Giudice went into prison. No matter how you feel about the Giudices and their illegal activities, you have to admit that it was an emotional episode – or you just have no soul, I don’t know. Flash forward to the present time, Tre shared an update on Joe and talked about celebrating her seventeenth wedding anniversary with her husband behind bars and how he is asking John Legend to get involved.

Wait. What? John Legend and the Giudices? How random. I feel like John’s wife (and Bravo super fan) Chrissy Teigen would support him getting involved, so maybe something will materialize from such a random request.
Teresa spoke out to Entertainment Tonight about how Juicy Joe is holding up in prison, revealing, “He is doing as well as could be expected, adding, “I talk to him all of the time. We email. Every day I speak to him.”
Not that this was specifically brought up, but everyone is rumbling about those Joe infidelity accusations while Teresa was away so it is worth noting that Teresa also said this, “He is an amazing husband, amazing father so why would I not stick by him. It is the natural thing to do.”
I’m sure this was in reference to whether she would stand by Joe after all the legal drama and his long prison sentence, but I couldn’t help flashing back to Kim D shit stirring this season with those cheating rumors. The statement does seem to apply there too.

It’s got to be awkward (among other adjectives) celebrating a wedding anniversary with someone who is behind bars, but the Giudices have to get used to it for a while. In an interview with E! News, Teresa explained what Joe was doing to keep the romance alive even while he was away.
Teresa revealed, “He said he had a surprise for me, and that he wrote me a song.”
That seems so off base and random, but yeah, it got weirder. Teresa added, “I gotta pitch it out there: He wants John Legend to sing it to me. So, we’ll see. You never know! I send him cards all the time. He is sending me a special card, too. I can’t wait to get it!”
Teresa did just post pics on Instagram with John and Chrissy from an event at Mohegan Sun, so maybe they discussed the anniversary song then? So, it could happen. God, I hope so. I would love to hear some Joe Giudice original lyrics.
