Kameron Westcott Says The Negative Reviews About Her Pink Dog Food Are Fake

As a Legally Blonde super fan and Real Housewives of Dallas viewer, I felt like Kameron Westcott had so much promise as a real life Elle Woods, but that’s not what we ended up with. Instead we were subjected to someone who insisted that pink dog food was a brilliant business idea and has no idea what fun is. This coming from someone who is typing this out with pink sparkle nail polish on her fingers: pink sparkle dog food is not a brilliant business idea.

Not only that, but it didn’t even look pink during that last episode. It just looked like standard, brown kibble to me. Now Kameron’s dog food is getting some scathing reviews, but she insists that they’re all faux.

According  to an article from Page Six, Kameron’s dog food has an average 3.3 out of 5 stars rating on Amazon which really isn’t that bad for a new product, but people are really going in with the comments about the products.

One reviewer wrote, “Just a tip for others buying this ‘food,’ make sure you buy a tarp to keep your dog on, cause you will have diarrhea everywhere!!!” one customer wrote, while another called it “nausea in a bag.” Eeeeewwwww. Another person echoed those sentiments and wrote, “Dog was dehydrated, vomiting, diarrhea, and very weak and not himself.”

Ironically enough, these stomach issues are most likely caused by the ingredient that is supposed to make the dog food look pink: red #3. Veterinarian Dr. Cindy Bressler told Page Six, “In general, food dye is not great for animals, just like it’s not [great] for people. It can cause, in some cases, allergies, hypersensitivity and skin problems.”

Kameron isn’t buy the negativity surrounding her product though. She told Page Six,  “We have contacted Amazon and they are removing the fake reviews that have been created to sabotage our business. The 1 star reviews were done by people who never purchased the product and [are] meritless. Based on internal tests we have found that dogs bowel movements are unaffected by our food.” Of course all of the negative reviews are “fake.”

She insisted,  “We suggest your dog try it and see that our food is a premium dog food and these negative reviews are baseless!” No thanks.
