Real Housewives Of Dallas Star Brandi Redmond Adopted A Baby Boy

Last year on Real Housewives of Dallas, Brandi Redmond revealed that she suffered through a miscarriage in between filming Seasons 1 and 2. Now Brandi and her family have some happy news: they adopted a baby boy.

Brandi confirmed that she and husband Bryan Redmond welcomed Bruin Charles Redmond to their family in an interview with People. The Redmonds adopted the baby via closed adoption after he was  born prematurely on December 31. His biological parents are teenagers who awarded the baby to the state of Texas at birth.

The baby even has strawberry blonde hair, making him a perfect fit for the Redmond family, full of redheads.  Brandi remarked, “It’s crazy.” She also said, “He’ll always look like he came from me, which he did — he came from my heart.”

Brandi shared, “For a long time, people would tell me, ‘You’ll know when your family is complete.’ And I never felt that way.” She admitted, “I’m blessed to have two beautiful children, but even after having them, in my heart, I knew it wasn’t complete.”

Brandi revealed that this journey will be documented on Season 3 of Real Housewives of Dallas. She said, “They followed the whole thing from start to finish.”

Brandi’s best friend and Real Housewives of Dallas costar Stephanie Hollman posted about the adoption on Instagram. She wrote, “Be still my heart! I could not be happier for the Redmond family and their newest edition, Bruin Charles Redmond. I am tearing up reading this article.”
