Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer aren’t seeing eye-to-eye and the two Real Housewives of New York stars took to their blogs this week to explain their mindset on the Tom party invite situation. If you missed Ramona’s defense, you can read it here. Luann’s side is up next. In short, she isn’t buying what Ramona is selling. She also calls out her ex-husband, Tom D’Agostino, for his tacky party.
Luann starts off, “This week, I’m going to remind everyone what the #GirlCode means. Do you think it was OK for Ramona to try to score an invite to Tom’s New Year’s Eve party in Palm Beach? Would you pick a party over your friend? Ramona doesn’t see a problem with what she did, although she apologized like she always does (100% insincere).”
She then rips into Tom for being so tactless. “Not only was holding this party tacky, insensitive, and disrespectful on Tom’s part, it showed complete disregard for me and my feelings. The ink was not even dry on our divorce! You would think Ramona would have realized how this would hurt me, but she went ahead and did it anyway. The best part is Tom said “NO”…LOL.”
Luann moves on and explains that she is perfectly fine being around the ladies when they drink. “The Grace Mayflower Inn and Spa in Washington, Connecticut is spectacular and just what I needed upon getting back into town from Florida. The girls had a great time, and it didn’t bother me a bit that they drank while I sipped non-alcoholic concoctions! I’m totally fine with it after not drinking for weeks. I’m taking the time to figure out myself, and it’s easier for me to find clarity when I put down the rosé and pick up the cucumber water!”
She ended her blog with a shout-out for her cabaret show. “I’m in San Francisco this week at Feinstein’s at the Nikko doing my new cabaret #CountessandFriends! The great thing about my cabaret is that it is always different, depending on which friends are with me that night. On tonight’s episode: “As the ladies try to relax into their trip to the spa, Luann finds herself dealing with unwanted press, while Dorinda confronts Bethenny about lingering tension. Dinner gets heated when Bethenny puts Tinsley on the spot over wedding dress shopping, Dorinda’s ongoing issues with Sonja reaches a fever pitch and Luann confronts Ramona about her disloyalty.”
