Kelly Dodd confronts Shane

Shannon Beador Sides With Kelly Dodd In Confrontation Against Emily Simpson

Oh, how times have changed. Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd have come a long way from screaming at each other in public. Now they are defending each other after screaming at others in public.

During the last episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, Kelly got into it with Vicki Gunvalson’s boyfriend Steve Lodge, Emily Simpson, and Emily’s husband Shane Simpson at Tamra Judge’s party for Eddie Judge’s birthday.

In the past, Shannon would have no qualms hating on Kelly in a Bravo blog post, but that was the past. Now Shannon is the captain of #TeamKelly. In her latest Bravo blog post, Shannon admitted, “Parts of this episode are difficult to watch. I didn’t attack Emily’s husband. Tamra herself questioned what kind of husband Shane was. It was very upsetting that my best friend was so angry at me.”

Shannon insisted, “I certainly wasn’t trying to make everything about me. I was just defending myself. The golf lunch was incredibly hurtful, and I just wanted to go home.”

Kelly Dodd Claims Vicki Gunvalson Asked Steve Lodge To Talk Poorly About Her In The Press

She explained, “I have been needy at this point in my divorce. It has been one of the most stressful times in my life. I’m glad that Tamra finally opened up to me, because I want to be the best friend I can be. We have to communicate with each other to maintain a great friendship. It hurts to hear Tamra say that I haven’t asked about Eddie, because I do all the time. It’s difficult to see your best friend in pain, and I know she is going through so much.” Who should we believe? Maybe they’re both a little bit wrong here?

Shannon shared, “On the way to Eddie’s birthday, Kelly expressed that she was upset with Steve about an article that was in the press. Everyone is entitled to their feelings, and Kelly has a right to feel however she wants. I thought it was sweet how she tried to have a calm and civil conversation with Steve, and it’s a shame it didn’t last for very long.” That’s a major understatement: “it didn’t last for very long” is just not enough to describe the situation that went down.

Shannon continued, “I can’t believe that Steve was standing with Emily’s husband. I had no idea who he was. It was odd to me that he started to pipe in with comments to Kelly after Steve walked away.” Maybe he wants to hold up an orange in the opening credits.

She wrote, “He didn’t know anything about the situation and should have kept quiet. The icing on the cake was when Emily became irate and threatened to kill Kelly. That is not appropriate party etiquette, especially for an attorney/party planner.” Oh, shade thrown, but that is a pretty funny point. A lawyer shouldn’t (jokingly) threaten to kill someone and a party planner shouldn’t disrupt a birthday party.

Shannon teased, “The party continues next week where you will see more of the unbelievable ‘death threats.’

TELL US- WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON: KELLY’S OR EMILY’S? DOES SHANNON MAKE EVERYTHING ABOUT HERSELF?
