Cynthia Bailey And Sister Malorie Film Episode of Iyanla Fix My Life

Cynthia Bailey just revealed that she is the latest Real Housewives of Atlanta star to film an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life! Cynthia and her sister Malorie both shared Instagram updates this morning, announcing their participation in the show. It is set to air on September 29th on OWN.

Cynthia shared with her followers, “Wow! Been on TV for a while now, and filming @iyanlavanzant #FIXMYLIFE to support my sister @mal_bailey was most definitely one of the most painful experiences of my life. We have been through a lot as a family & the scars run deep. Like most families, we don’t talk about them. The family love is there but the family communication is almost nonexistent.”

She admitted that it was a painful process.”We have so many issues, and they all came up. So did the pain & tears. I said a lot. I yelled a lot. I cried a lot. I never knew that I still had triggers that could cut so deep. I am not proud of some of the things I did & said. Especially to my mother. But I am glad it all came out, so we can heal & move on.”

Cynthia Bailey is dating Mike Hill

Cynthia shared that it has been nerve-wracking thing, waiting for the episode to air. “I am very nervous to watch the show. Dreading it actually. Please don’t judge us. Or me. As the oldest child, I took on a lot to help my family. My mom had me when she was 18. The same age as my @noellerobinson. She did her best. She went through a lot. It took me a long time to realize that. There was some closure, but we are still a work in progress. We love each other but we are not perfect. I’m just grateful for the good that came out of it. Pray for us. @owntv September 29th”

Mal announced it on her instagram account, too. “Yes I will be on Iyanla Fix my Life Show. My family joined me on the show for moral support. I’m a very private person and to speak on my personal issues was very hard for me. I won’t give the show away but I will say my situation is very difficult and extremely painful. Show airs September 29. Stay tuned.”

If you’ll recall, Sheree Whitfield and her ex-husband Bob were on the show back in 2013 and Sheree did not have good things to say about it. Hopefully it was a better experience for Cynthia and Mal.
