Luann de Lesseps Violated Probation; Skipped AA Meetings & Sobriety Tests

Life is not a cabaret, Luann de Lesseps. The Real Housewives of New York star needs to prioritize beyond her Jovani gowns and off-key show tunes. She could have some (more) serious legal trouble on her hands.

No one could ever forget her Christmas Eve 2017 arrest in Palm Beach. She drunkenly tried to get the d in a hotel room that wasn’t hers. Then, she tried to slip out of handcuffs. And, of course, she told a police officer that she would kill him. That is not at all Countess-like. Season 1 Luann would not associate with her. That’s for sure. Now, Lu has violated her probation. Ugh oh.

TMZ obtained legal documents that say the Real Housewife of New York is not coming through for her probation requirements. She hasn’t provided proof that she attends the required 2 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings every week. Not only that, but she hasn’t been taking sobriety tests. What could be more important than staying out of jail? Oh right: the cabaret. Did she just forget that she’s a famous reality star? People do pay attention to what she does: her fans and, oh yeah, her parole officer.

Luckily for her, Luann will not actually be punished for this. More or less, she’s just getting a slap on the wrist and a warning to get her shit together. Her own parole officer said she has failed to comply with the conditions of her probation. What is she thinking? She’s so lucky that she avoided jail time. Yet, here she is completely blowing it. Does she want to trade in a sequined gown for an orange jumpsuit? Or better yet, does Jovani make prison gear?

At least she’s completed 25 out of the 50 required hours of community service that she needs to get done by August 28. Does attending charity galas count as “community service”? I would love to know what she’s doing to fulfill those requirements.
