Ramona Singer Says Bethenny Frankel Didn’t Tell Real Housewives Of New York Cast That She Quit

Ramona Singer has given Bethenny Frankel lots of flack for “not supporting other women” and I wouldn’t blame her for feeling that way (again) if her recent comments are true. Ramona claimed that Bethenny never told any of the Real Housewives of New York cast members that she quit the show.

Apparently, the RHONY ladies found out just like the rest of us did: through the press. To make matters worse, Ramona posted a video on her Instagram Story strongly hinting that she was about to film for the new season last night. So did the cameras capture the ladies’ reaction to Bethenny’s departure? I wonder if they will show that footage when Season 12 airs. Probably not, but I would love to see it. That or the group text with Bethenny excluded full of Housewives bitching about getting blindsided while bragging that they do not “need” B.

In an interview with People, Ramona maintained that she “respects the fact that Bethenny has decided to go on with other endeavors.”

She even said, “Bethenny found love in her life, and it’s so fantastic that she’ll be taking the time to grow that relationship away from the cameras and to explore other business opportunities.”

Actually, this isn’t the first time that Bethenny left the show and didn’t give the cast a heads up. The self-proclaimed ageless reality star revealed, “When she left in season 4, we found out through the press she was doing her spinoff, Bethenny Getting Married.”

Not only that, but Ramona also claimed. “She was upset we never congratulated her, but we were upset she never told us! And that’s how we feel now. There is a camaraderie among us as a cast. Love us, hate us, not like us — we are a team. To hear this from the press and not through her is upsetting.” Damn right. I’m not even a cast member on this show and I feel completely blindsided. She really caught all of us off guard with that announcement.

And I have to actually agree with Ramona on this one. Bethenny should have let the women know. Or, at the very least, she could have sent them some personal message when the news went public. Wow, Bethenny, wow.

Still, Ramona is happy to be the queen remarked, “The show’s a machine and it will continue on. We’re all just a cog in the wheel. No one is irreplaceable.” But who will join the cast? We’ve all seen the rumors and none of the (alleged) contenders sound remotely promising.

TELL US- DO YOU BELIEVE THAT BETHENNY NEVER TOLD THE CAST THAT SHE WAS LEAVING? DO YOU THINK SHE SHOULD HAVE? DOES RAMONA HAVE A RIGHT TO BE UPSET?
