The Real Housewives of Potomac ladies brought their A-game this season. Or at least most of them did. We all know who had no storyline. Honorary Housewife Michael Darby carried the season on his back with the scandal and his many suspicious behaviors. Pretty much no one had Ashley Darby’s back except for Monique Samuels.
The Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant feud resurfaced in many different ways. Candiace Dillard questioned Ashley’s sincerity in her marriage and her desire to get married. Many times. She even got into it with Monique over that, somehow. Now, the season is coming to a close tonight with the finale episode.
After two seasons of speculation, Karen finally reveals her La Dame perfume with a launch party. And, of course, the women have a lot of suspicions and shade to throw her way.
Robyn Dixon and her ex-husband/current boyfriend Juan Dixon “make a grand gesture to solidify their relationship.” Unless they get engaged or married, I’m yawning over here. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for them, but they have been dragging out this “getting back together” thing for four seasons at this point.

Candiace and her husband Chris Bassett try to break away from her mother’s financial hold on their lives. It’s doubtful she’s gonna let go of that control though. Come on: she lives for this incredibly toxic dynamic.
Ashley takes a pregnancy test and visits a doctor, which may be a touching storyline, but it’s not exactly suspenseful since she is already a mom at this point in real-time. No mystery there, but again, I’m happy for her.

Let’s hope there’s some drama at this perfume party.
