Kyle Richards has many talents, but amateur sleuthing is not one of them. Neither is being subtle. Or offering heartfelt apologies. This trio of flaws may do some damage to her public image, though viewers of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will not be surprised.
Kyle’s brazen and very public approach to a delicate situation has created a bigger issue than necessary and also put her in the hot seat to issue an apology. A sincere apology. And this time, it’s not one of her cast-mates asking for one.
Last week, Kyle made a public statement after discovering what she thought was a stolen family heirloom. She was referring to a picture of a woman’s hands that Diane Keaton posted on her Instagram last year. The woman, a “psychic” according to Diane, was wearing a ring that resembled one that was stolen from Kyle’s house in 2017.
According to Page Six, Kyle shared her suspicions during the “Secrets Revealed,” Real Housewives of Beverly Hills special. “I was looking on Instagram and I saw Diane Keaton – she posted a picture of a psychic’s hands on the Third Street Promenade and they had my ring on her hand,” she said, “we reached out to one of our agents at The Agency who happens to represent Keaton and I said, ‘You need to find out what the situation is.’”

Running with the assumption that this woman was in possession of her mother’s ring, Kyle said, “I want to know if she bought that from someone at a pawn shop, even if I have to buy it back from her, I’m happy to do that.”

Then a TikTok user, claiming to be the “psychic’s” granddaughter, came forward to produce evidence that the ring has been in her grand-mother possession for decades.
Page Six shared the video and transcribed the text. “Hey Kyle Richards, I see this post on Diane Keaton’s story about your mother’s stolen rings. I just want to clear things up. This ring right there, that’s my grandma’s ring,” the TikTok user said.

Also, Kyle’s alleged culprit is not actually a psychic. “She has been working in a pharmacy for over 50 years,” the grand daughter revealed, “she has had those rings for decades, here are a couple pictures to prove it.”
Among the photos was one of a school celebration. “These are my grandma’s hands at my 5th grade graduation,” she revealed, “there’s the ring, so let me know if you want any more information.”

As of Friday, that seemed to be the conclusion of the saga. Kyle did not publicly respond and went to Aspen, Colorado to enjoy the holiday weekend with her family.
Unfortunately for Kyle, the pharmacist has now come forward to demand an apology. According to Daily Mail, identified the woman as Diana French. “I mean, this is terrible. I don’t deserve this,” she said on being accused of theft.

Diana also produced evidence that she has owned the ring for decades, including appraisal papers that valued the ring at $2,500 in 1980. “My mother was killed 40 years ago and my dad gave me her band.” French revealed.
Instagram followers suggested that Kyle apologize to Diana in the comments section on one of Kyle’s recent posts. Will Kyle do so?
