Monique Samuels (and her husband Chris Samuels) seemed to be over the Real Housewives of Potomac during the final installment of the reunion. In return, Andy Cohen seemed to be over them (and annoyed by their anger over the paternity rumors).
He also seemed pretty peeved when she said that her family didn’t need those Bravo checks during the reunion and now she’s done with that. That’s right, she will not be on Real Housewives of Potomac Season 6.
After the reunion, Monique went live on Instagram to share the news. After promoting her song “Drag Queens,”she admitted, “It was a crazy ride. It’s not easy doing reality TV. And to be quite honest, I’m over it.”
She thanked her fans for all that they’ve done for her before saying “when you cross certain lines there’s no going back. For me, my family is that line.” Of course, she was referring to the rumors about the paternity of her youngest son Chase.

Monique said she values her family’s opinion “more than anybody else’s opinion.” She repeated, “I’m over it” before saying that she just couldn’t stay on the show because she didn’t want her kids to grow up and find out that she stayed following those rumors about her having an affair with her trainer.
Monique admitted, “This season I played right into that stereotype. I was working overtime to check myself because that’s the opposite of what I want to display.”
She told her followers, “I’m always going to be a great example or a role model for my kids and you have to know when enough is enough.”
So, now here comes the age old question: did she actually “quit” or was she “let go”?
