Captain Lee Rosbach has been branching out in his entertainment endeavors, but would he compete on Dancing with the Stars? He shifted gears after he wasn’t asked back to helm the superyacht on Below Deck. And while he may not be part of the franchise anymore, Captain Lee isn’t shy about sharing his criticism of Below Deck Mediterranean star Captain Sandy Yawn. Their feud rages on.
Meanwhile, Captain Lee partnered with his former chief stew, Kate Chastain, for a new venture. The duo co-hosts Couch Talk. Basically, they dissect Bravo shows and give their opinions. At least the hosts never run low on those!
While not a Bravo show, Captain Lee recently spoke about Dancing with the Stars. Three reality stars are heating up the ballroom this season. So, would Captain Lee ever ‘trip the light fantastic’ on DWTS?
Captain Lee is open to doing Dancing with the Stars
Captain Lee discussed the possibility on his Podcast One podcast, Salty with Captain Lee. And his co-host, Sam DeCavalcanti, was giddy about the prospect.
“I’d take a row in it,” Captain Lee said of hitting the ballroom. Yes! I would love to see that! And I commend the nautical talk.
“Yeah? Put your dancing shoes on? To see you do a foxtrot or a quickstep… Oh, my God, it’s got me tickled pink at the thought of it,” Sam replied. She was laughing at the idea.
Then Sam mentioned how much Captain Lee’s wife, Mary Anne Rosbach, would love to see her husband cha-cha. “Mary Anne and I will sit front row, with the popcorn,” she added.
“Jesus. How does your mind … I don’t know how your mind gets to these places,” he responded. But Sam wasn’t done ribbing her co-host.
“It’s hysterical though. It keeps me giggling all day long,” Sam said. Hey, I wouldn’t mind seeing Captain Lee perform a spicy samba or fiery Paso Doble.
