Katie Flood of Winter House certainly welcomed Tom Schwartz when he joined the crew during the show’s third season. The two made a quick connection even though their start was less than ideal.
After all, who can forget her first reaction? She had no idea who he was because she had never watched Vanderpump Rules. “Am I living under a goddamn rock here?” Katie said. “I have no idea who the f**k Tom Schwartz is.”
But she definitely knows who he is now, and Katie Maloney shared her response to the two during a panel at BravoCon and an interview with Andy Cohen.
On filming and co-existing with exes
During the BravoCon panel, Katie M. was asked what it was like filming with exes and co-existing in the reality television world with former partners, and her initial response was to say dryly, “It’s been a joy.”
She seemed slightly uncomfortable when talking about Tom, and when asked if she and her ex-husband were on “good terms,” she simply replied, “We’re on terms.”
She admitted that they still communicate and share their dog, but it doesn’t look like they are at a place where Katie M. would be happy for Tom and genuinely root for him to move on with someone new.
The Something About Her co-owner shared a cheeky response when Andy asked how she felt about Tom and Katie F. “Katie, what was your reaction to the news that Tom Schwartz and Katie Flood had a thing on Winter House,” Andy asked.
“That she had never seen Vanderpump Rules, ever,” Katie said. “Cause why would she if she had, right?”
Are Tom and his new Katie still going strong?
So, how are Tom and Katie F. doing now? Viewers can recall that Tom found the Below Deck Mediterranean stewardess to be a “10 out of 10” even though he didn’t love that she shared the same first name as his ex. But is the connection still going strong?
Fans have to keep watching Winter House to find out exactly what went down and what will happen to the duo, but there seems to be a hint dropped by Katie F. during another panel at BravoCon.
When asked if she was still in touch with Tom, she replied, “I don’t know a Tom.” Katie later revealed that she does still speak with Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner.
Hmm, it doesn’t sound promising. Maybe Katie F. has finally watched Vanderpump Rules?
