It’s no secret that The Valley star Lala Kent is not on good terms with former Vanderpump Rules castmate Scheana Shay. The girls are famously feuding, and it appears that this is not going to change any time soon. In fact, Tom Schwartz is pretty sure the friendship is over for good and can no longer be saved.
The former VPR stars are locked in a feud
Tom appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. One guest asked him what he thought about Lala refusing to talk about Scheana in a recent WWHL interview.
“You guys, it’s no joke. That is a very frosty, cold, icy feud,” Tom explained about things between Lala and Scheana. “I don’t think it’s salvageable.”
He admitted that he’s friends with Scheana and her husband, Brock Davies, and messages with them often. He also spent a lot of time with Lala on the latest season of The Valley, so he has a pretty good perspective of how the two feel about one another.
But even he can’t pinpoint how the feud grew into something so contentious. “I don’t understand how it got so heated,” he shared. “I don’t understand the root of it, to be honest.” He asked fellow guest, Luke Broderick, if he had an idea, and he said he thought it had something to do with their kids’ schooling.
“Mom group drama,” Andy joked. He’s not kidding, those mom groups can get pretty messy.
However, Scheana and Lala’s feud goes way back. This isn’t the first time Lala has refused to talk about Scheana. In an interview last April, when asked about her former co-star, she just repeated, “I have not one thing to say about her.”
As for Scheana, she’s not in any rush to salvage her friendship with Lala either. According to her, the feud between them began when Lala told Jenna Willis about Brock’s affair. It’s just continued to simmer and grow since then.
And if Tom is right, these two won’t be burying the hatchet any time soon.
