When it comes to Vanderpump Rules stars’ reputations, Scheana Shay’s certainly isn’t the worst. That honor goes to Tom Sandoval. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean Scheana’s always had the best rep either. As VPR fans know, Scheana makes it easy for editors to give her a villain story.
With recent drama circulating over BravoCon 2023, Scheana might be in more hot water than ever. See, Scheana has long been friends with Ariana Madix. When Sandoval went down, Scheana stepped up. So, fans were confused when the Season 11 trailer showed her hugging Tom.
Moreover, reports quickly spread that Scheana had been hanging out in Tom’s suite during the convention. Ariana spoke on the matter, calling Scheana’s behavior weird, but said “We’re good,” regarding the pair’s friendship. Still, fans aren’t so sure, and now, it would seem Scheana’s trying to save face.
Scheana told Sandoval his words don’t “matter anymore”
On the November 10 episode of her podcast, Scheana explained that she went off on Tom after comments he reportedly made to the press. Scheana explained, “That night Ariana was really upset about something she heard he said about her [to] press on the carpet. About her supposedly yanking off his lightning bolt necklace and pulling out his inner ears.”
She continued, “Right when I saw how upset she was, I was like, ‘Oh I’m going to say something.’ And I go out of our dressing room. And I pull him aside. I’m like, ‘Dude what the f*ck? Why are you still saying stuff?’ And I was going off on him. Then I go back in the room. And [Ariana] was like, ‘Did you say something.’ And I was like ‘Yes I did.’”
Amazing how heroic Scheana comes off in her telling of events. She claimed she further grilled Tom about continuing to talk about Ariana to the press. “Tom also your side just doesn’t even matter anymore so just, like, stop. Stop trying to defend it. And double down. Stop talking about her. Move on … talk about your band and other sh*t you have going on for yourself. Just, like, leave her alone.”
