Tom Sandoval Admits Resenting Ariana Madix for ‘Creating a Climate That Pushes People to Suicide’

It’s time we all moved on from Scandoval. It is undoubtedly one of, if not THE single most toxic storyline to come out of a Bravo series. But, so long as the scandal’s main players keep talking about what went down, we will keep reporting on what they say. Now, Tom Sandoval has admitted his resentment towards ex-partner Ariana Madix following his affair with Rachel Leviss.

Speaking on the Two Ts In a Pod podcast, alongside Tom Schwartz, he explained why he thinks everything went too far. Sandoval even opened up about the moment he was on a call with Rachel, as the pair considered suicide. Here’s what he had to say.

Sandoval has found everything “hard to fight through”

Speaking to hosts Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, Sandy got perhaps more honest than ever before. “It’s been hard to fight through,” he admitted. “I do harbor a lot of resentment and anger because of being with somebody and them looking at me like I’m a serial killer … [like I’ve been] scheming for eight years for this moment which is f*cking ridiculous.”

He said of the moment Ariana wished he would “die,” in the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 finale: “”Wishing death upon me, creating a climate that pushes most people to f*cking suicide. I was on the phone with Rachel and literally debating on f*cking killing ourselves and that’s not f*cking cool.”

Tom’s right. The climate surrounding Scandoval was ridiculous and dangerous at certain points. But what is also not cool, is placing the blame for that climate in the lap of the woman he cheated on. Ariana may have said and done some things that others would not, but she was the victim in this scenario. She gets a pass. Gaslighting and rewriting history, and suggesting she is to blame for his suicidal thoughts is one step way too far.

Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo for Season 11 in January 2024.
