Would Bethenny Frankel Replace Mark Cuban on Shark Tank?

Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel is speaking out about whether she’d join the cast of Shark Tank full-time. During a new interview with The Messenger, the reality TV legend spoke about Mark Cuban’s exit — which will come in 2025.

“I was texting with Mark about it. I love Mark, and I don’t think it can be filled,” she said regarding taking his place. “They have to leave Mark’s seat right there, and maybe they can create other seats.”

Would Bethenny join Shark Tank full-time?

In addition to the Real Housewives and her other projects, Bethenny occasionally finds time to fill in on the popular ABC series. She admits it’s a “fun show;” however, that doesn’t mean she’s keen on joining as a full-time cast member.

“I love the people on that show. But it’s a major commitment to really nurture these businesses. Mark’s been a legend. He’s the most legendary Shark — although I’ve worked with Kevin [O’Leary], and he’s wonderful.”

Bethenny has been the talk of the town as of late for her efforts to unionize reality TV. “I myself have generated millions and millions of dollars in advertising and online impressions being on reality TV and have never made a single residual,” she stated. “So, either I’m missing something, or we’re getting screwed too,” she said regarding the 2023 actor’s strike.

Since then, she’s been at war with her former pal, Andy Cohen, and other executives at Bravo. “I can tell you with great certainty that everyone at Bravo likely despises me, including Andy Cohen,” she stated.

The Bravo powerhouse hasn’t said much about her claims; however, he did respond at this year’s BravoCon. “Bravo, as we all can see — Bravo and the shows that are on Bravo — bring millions of people so much joy and so much happiness.”

“… I live in the joy that these shows bring people, and I think we all do. That’s the place that I’m at,” Andy finished.

Although there’s no official word on whether Bethenny will take over for Mark Cuban in the coming years, we’ll certainly be talking about it if anything changes.
