While we never saw a Real Housewives of New York City: Legacy series, fans were gifted the next best thing. A group of legends for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy. The ladies returned to St. Barths. And the scandalous memory of Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan separately cavorting with a pirate.
The cast included Kelly Bensimon, Kristen Taekman, Dorinda Medley, and Ramona Singer. Dorinda bonded with Kelly until she watched the “Scary Island” episode of RHONY. That iconic trip where Kelly had all the jelly beans, some type of meltdown, and some amazing insults for Bethenny Frankel. As a result, Dorinda likened Kelly to “a Rubik’s Cube.”
Kelly and Luann want to keep the party going
Kelly and Luann were recent guests on Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap podcast. The RHUGT cast members were asked, “Are you guys hopeful that after this trip, Bravo will revisit a RHONY OG show?”
“They have to!” Kelly said. “Yes. We have so much fun, and our connections are so — I’m speaking for Luann here — our connections are so strong. And I think that was one of the reasons why I came back with such an amazing feeling after the trip.”
She continued, “It was because doing press with Dorinda [Medley] today, we get along and we know each other very well, and that’s really important. And that resonates with the viewer because they’re like ‘Oh my god, we know that person too.’”
As for Luann, her response was more lukewarm. “Maybe. It’s a maybe,” she said. Luann also shared how Kelly “was disappointed when Legacy didn’t happen.”
Kelly agreed, stating, “I was just ready to get into it. You know? I’ve been off television for a while now and I was just ready to come back and let everybody know what I’m up to,” she explained. “And into.”
Luann wants a sea-faring edition
Meanwhile, Luann was thinking of a more nautical theme for another RHUGT: RHONY Legacy. “Well, it’s not over. They should be sending the OGs everywhere,” Luann said. I think we have to go Below Deck next, with Captain Lee [Rosbach].”
Oh, that would be epic! Can you imagine Captain Lee traveling with these ladies? He would hide in his cabin, which would be the smallest, for most of the trip. These RHONY alums don’t play when it comes to who gets the best room.
