Andy Cohen Reveals Hilarious Moment His Son Ben Embarrassed Him While Shopping

Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen is very familiar with the challenges and joys of parenting being a father to Ben, four, and Lucy, two. Apparently, his older child is quite the comedian and Andy has mentioned some of Ben’s antics on his radio show SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

Most recently, hilarity ensued when Andy took Ben on a shopping trip. And the pre-schooler was very vocal about Andy’s state of undress while trying on some shirts.

Andy had to tell his son Ben to “chill out”

Andy told his co-host, John Hill, about the shopping trip gone wrong.

“I took them shopping in Amagansett one day and I was, we were in several stores, and every time I went in the dressing room, I was like, ‘Ben, come in the dressing room. Tell me how this shirt looks,'” Andy explained.

So far, so good. It seems an uneventful shopping trip with kids. But wait, the story doesn’t end there. It can be said that no one is more observant than a kid in a dressing room with a parent.

The Bravo executive continued, “And I’m changing. Every time I would take my shirt off, Ben screamed in the store, ‘Andy Cohen is naked in here. Andy Cohen is naked in here.’ I’m like, ‘Ben, chill out,’ like this is, and then of course I’m screaming, ‘I’m not naked. I’m not naked.’ He’s like, ‘Yes you are. You’re naked.'”

John suggested, “Maybe that’s how you will find a boyfriend. Maybe that is how you’ll find a man.”

Andy seemed unconvinced, so John made another suggestion.

“Just take him to be our wingman around-,” he added.

“Yeah I guess,” the father of two ended the conversation.

How amusing. Andy has a talent for communicating and keeping his cool with just about anybody, and he’s made a career out of Watch What Happens Live interviews in addition to being a radio host and executive producer at Bravo. Yet, his little one knows how to make him uncomfortable. That’s classic parenthood.
