The drama between Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Katie Maloney gets more strained every day, with Tom now venting his frustrations over the infamous penis flute.
Fans may remember when Tom bought the flute in Vanderpump Rules Season 6. Fast forward to Season 10 and Ariana’s friend Logan broke the flute as a consequence of Tom’s cheating. Recently, in the Season 11 promotional material, fans saw the flute as they once knew it.
As it turned out, Tom had his assistant, Ann, glue the flute back together. Ariana cited it as delusional behavior on Tom’s part – another act of warfare in the shared home – and it seemed Katie agreed. Well, Tom wasn’t all too happy about the clip.
Tom’s sentimentality over his penis flute
On the most recent episode of Tom’s podcast, Everybody Loves Tom, the VPR star explained, “When I saw Katie and Ariana talking about, you know, wanting to keep the house and the penis flute, gluing it back together, I was really, really pissed.”
As to why the flute was so important to him, Tom explained, “Look, we got that in Mexico. Somebody like, hand-sculpted it,” clarifying that it was made of clay rather than wood. “It’s like a flower pot,” Tom added.
“It came out with us and went around with us like, the entire night, and it was part of a hilarious like, very memorable awesome part of our show.” Tom also cited how Rihana had watched and laughed at the video featuring the flute.
Tom Schwartz called it “an internet sensation,” and Tom agreed. In all fairness, anyone would be mad if their souvenir from a sentimental trip was broken. But as many have pointed out, Tom seems to show much more care for his flute than for any person in his life.
