Ariana Madix Responds to Tom Schwartz Shade: ‘Gotta Try and Knock Me Down’

It’s safe to say Ariana Madix and Tom Schwartz are not in the best place. During a preview of next week’s episode, viewers see the two Vanderpump Rules vets going at it for the first time since the season premiere in late January.

In the preview, shared online by Robyn Dixon Queens of Bravo, Tom took some shots (something he really only does with women) at Ariana after she shot down his invitation to join him during a cast trip with Tom Sandoval. “I gave up on you a long time ago, and my life is better for it,” Ariana told Schwartz, who replied, “You’re not the queen of the group.”

After watching the clip air on TV, Ariana responded to Tom’s shade in the comments of an Instagram post. “He’s not wrong [because] I’ve literally never thought or said that,” she wrote. “Same guy who professes to miss my friendship. Ya right lmao gotta try and knock me down as soon as I remind him I don’t f*ck with him just to give me another reminder I made the right choice for myself.”

Ari and Tom’s relationship has been on the rocks since news of Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Leviss became public. Although Schwartz denied knowing about the affair until shortly before the rest of the world knew, Rachel has claimed the TomTom owner is lying

“Schwartz knew since the very beginning. I got a phone call from Tom after we hooked up for the first time,” she revealed on her podcast.

“…He was at Schwartz’s apartment, and that was a safe space for him. So Schwartz knew before we even had a conversation to talk about it and what the game plan was going to be.”

So far, Tom Schwartz’s plan to win over Ariana this season isn’t looking too hot. We’ll have to keep watching to see what’s next for their dynamic.

Vanderpump Rules continues on Bravo, Tuesdays at 8/7c.
