Ariana Madix’s life just keeps looking better and better. As fans know, the Vanderpump Rules star had her world turned upside down when her longtime boyfriend cheated on her.
Despite the heartache, things have been looking up since then. The reality star has had nearly all her dreams come true over the last year, such as when she got to compete in Dancing with the Stars.
Her successes culminated in her being cast as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. Now, she’s been given some official recognition.
Ariana and the PCA Reality TV winners and nominees
At the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, Ariana won the “Competition Contestant of the Year” award for her time on DWTS. Funnily enough, Ariana couldn’t be there to accept the award as she was busy performing on Broadway during the ceremony. Talk about a show of success; the wins are piling up too high for VPR’s own.
Ariana beat out some familiar faces in the category. Other nominees included Charity Lawson from The Bachelorette and Theresa Nist from The Golden Bachelor. There was even Ariana’s fellow DWTS competitor and Season 32 winner, Xochitl Gomez. Ariana’s win in the category meant she walked away with half the awards for which she was nominated.
The Pump Rules star was also nominated for “Reality TV Star of the Year.” She sat alongside the likes of Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, Kandi Burruss, Kim Kardashian, and this year’s winner, Khloé Kardashian. Still, Ariana’s win in the competitor category puts her alongside winners such as former Bachelorette Hannah Brown and Drag Race star Gigi Goode.
