Ariana Madix recently opened up about her chance encounter with former President Barack Obama, whom she ran into last month at the NBA All-Star Weekend game. As Ariana explained on Watch What Happens Live, “It was amazing.” And then, this former Vanderpump Rules star turned Love Island USA host told Andy Cohen a few additional things.
The Love Island USA host heralded the former President’s “really soft hands”
Last month, @HousewivesHub shared an image on X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter. In this image, we saw Ariana shaking hands with Barack. Both Barack and Ariana looked impeccable, from their clothing to their matching smiles.
Several beats later, Ariana appeared on WWHL. While here, Andy asked her a question from one of his cue cards. “Ariana, Mitchell W. [wants to know], what was it like meeting Barack Obama at the NBA All-Stars weekend? And do you think he’s seen an episode of Vanderpump Rules or Love Island?”
Smiling and closing her eyes, holding her hands together as if in prayer, Ariana answered, “Listen. I’ve seen Michelle Obama talk about Love Island and Bravo shows. So, my fingers are crossed that, if she has seen it, then maybe Barack has seen it.” Andy liked her response, saying, “Ohhhhh.”
“Forever FLOTUS,” Andy added. “Forever,” Ariana parroted. But also, Ariana confessed, Barack “has really soft hands.” Andy liked this comment as well, saying, “Wowwwww.”
Meanwhile, Carl Radke was also in the clubhouse. “Michelle went up to Lindsay [Hubbard] at an event a few years ago,” he recalled, and “Michelle was like, ‘I know you.'” In response, Carl ended, Lindsay felt just as star-struck as Ariana.
