Rachel Leviss might be done with Vanderpump Rules in a certain sense, but VPR is certainly not done with her. Her presence still looms over the cast. Most recently, Tom Schwartz specifically.
Even though Rachel might not be on the show anymore, the show is still very much a part of her identity. Her new podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, essentially revolves around VPR and its cast. As much as fans might have their problems with Rachel, the podcast is becoming a must-listen.
For example, the claim that Schwartz knew about Tom Sandoval’s affair from the very start. The bad blood between Rachel and her former co-stars makes a viewer wonder what her last interaction with each of them must’ve been like.
Schwartz reached out to Rachel as “a nicety”
In his recent Watch What Happens Live appearance, Andy Cohen asked Schwartz about the relationship between Tom and Rachel. He noted how Tom was so torn up about Rachel going no contact. He then asked Schwartz, “What was your last contact with Rachel?”
Schwartz responded, “I think it was maybe right before we started filming.” He clarified the communication was “A nicety. Just checking in. I did a mental health check-in just to make sure, you know, ‘cause things got dark for a while there.”
He added, however, “I haven’t heard from her since. But I wish her well.” Regardless of how true his well wishes were, Rachel seemingly does not share the same sentiment. Since Rachel appears to be just fine divulging any details about her former castmates, it would seem the bridge is thoroughly burned.
To that point, when WWHL posted the Schwartz clip to its TikTok page, it was met with an interesting comment: “Unpopular opinion bravo needs to start putting something in contracts to stop podcasts from being made or podcasts from talking about the show.” That seems a bit dictatorial.
