Teddi Mellencamp is not here for Dorit Kemsley blasting her private text message with Kyle Richards all over the upcoming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion.
“I really think [this] is crossing the line,” Teddi said during her podcast, Two Ts In A Pod. “You have to … understand the invasion of privacy that you feel when that kind of message is leaked.”
During a special teaser of the three-part reunion, Dorit told Erika Jayne that she expected to bump heads with Kyle. She added that the RHOBH OG sent her a lengthy text hours before filming commenced in an effort to “silence” her. “It’s so manipulative [and] calculated,” she said.
Is Dorit desperate to save her diamond?
Later during her conversation, Teddi explained why she felt Dorit shared her texts with Kyle, adding she’s hoping to save her spot on the series. “I think that was Dorit’s final hail mary of, like, you guys have to keep me on the show.”
Teddi isn’t the only former Housewife siding with Kyle, either. Bethenny Frankel, who has been leading the charge to expose the truth behind the scenes of the reality TV world, came to her friend’s defense. “I cannot believe a private, personal, emotional, heartfelt, guttural text from Kyle to a friend, off-camera – when not working, when not filming – was aired. What a violation. I cannot imagine what that would feel like,” she shared.
“… for the production company and the network to air a private interaction; like, when you’re working, you’re working, and that’s vile enough. But, like, when you’re not working, and you’re off the clock, like, are they going to also own your thoughts?”
The Beverly Hills reunion kicks off tonight, and the ladies are out for blood. EJ stated in an earlier interview that she wants Andy Cohen to eviscerate Kyle because “fair is fair.” Sutton Stracke will have much explaining to do, while Crystal Kung Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley will come face to face after putting a bow on their rocky friendship during the finale.
