Annemarie Wiley Officially One and Done, Won’t Return to RHOBH

Annemarie Wiley won’t be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The newbie came on strong last season. She was obsessed with Sutton Stracke’s esophagus. Although she is a nurse anesthetist, she faced criticism from the American Society of Anesthesiologists for the way that she treated Sutton about her esophageal problem. It was one of the strangest moments in RHOBH history.

She also fought with Crystal Kung Minkoff about whether or not she alleged that Sutton had an eating disorder. All in all, it was a pretty rocky road for Annemarie. So, this news isn’t exactly a shock.

Annemarie shares her disappointment as she confirms she won’t return to RHOBH

Annemarie broke down her feelings in an Instagram post. “I just got word today that I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement,” she wrote. She said that the show found her and asked her to join six weeks into filming.

She continued, “I was very excited about the opportunity, and I thought following exactly what I was instructed to do throughout filming last season was the way the “game was played.” Listening to what I was instructed to do was my rookie mistake.” Annemarie stated that she was “disappointed” that RHOBH fans didn’t get to see the real her, and her real life.

“It was an important mission of mine for the next season to show a solid black family unit and that “true black love” exists, even in Beverly Hills,” she said. Annemarie pointed out that her struggle after losing her mother to cancer and her decision to locate her biological parents “was taped, but never shown last season…among other things.”

Annemarie continued, “To the fans that saw past what was portrayed and saw the REAL me, thank you so much for the love and support. I wish all the ladies good luck on the next season and thank you Bravo for the opportunity.”

She stated, “I’m excited for the new opportunities ahead that celebrate positivity, truth, authenticity, and the values I truly align with. Until we meet again!”

It sounds like Annemarie wasn’t happy with her edit on RHOBH. And after the negative attention that she received, this may be a blessing in disguise.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is available to stream on Peacock.
