Ariana Madix Dishes on ‘Low-Key’ Skincare Routine

Ariana Madix is still on top of the world post-Scandoval. Her Vanderpump Rules co-stars are having trouble dealing with all of her success, lucrative deals, and casting opportunities. Scheana Shay crumbled over her VPR co-star’s inclusion in Dancing with the Stars, though Ariana suggested that her taking the role was more of a f–k you to her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval.

Ariana is residing in New York City while starring in a run in Broadway’s Chicago as Roxy Hart. Her run was extended through April 7. It’s nice that she got to be local with her boyfriend, Daniel Wai, for that time.

Continued interest in the Vanderpump Rules star had a camera crew come and interview her about her morning routine. And Ariana is about as funny and honest as one could be about her modest skincare regime.

Ariana joked about her skin “just getting older”

Elle’s “Waking Up With” series filmed Ariana’s morning routine in her NYC digs. The Bravolebrity resisted embracing the day and instead chose to joke that her first action every morning is to “scream and cry that I have to be awake.”

“I don’t really like mornings, so I try to keep it as low-key as possible,” she later stated. “Really doing the bare minimum.”

Using the basic tried-and-true method of cold water on the face, Ariana can wake herself up and prep her skin for a series of products. There’s Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturizer, which the VPR star applies. Next up is COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and COSRX Snail 92 All in One Cream.

Ariana joked that her skin type is “just getting older.” The VPR favorite pointed out “These lines around my eyes.”

“I wish I had a dermatologist. Maybe my skin would look better,” Ariana mused.

The Bravolebrity had “never been to a dermatologist” besides “one time when I had melanoma, which was not fun” in 2019.

Ariana compared her routine with a morning filming for Vanderpump Rules

Interestingly, the producer asked Ariana to describe how her morning would be different if she were prepping for Vanderpump Rules.

“If I’m filming for Vanderpump Rules, those are scenes that we film for maybe two, three hours at a time. And those are never scheduled any earlier than, let’s say 11 am. The only thing that changes is I would put makeup on. And then try to think of an outfit. And then freak out because I can’t think of anything cute,” the Chicago star explained.

Most importantly, Ariana has a routine to support her body for her Broadway role. She demonstrated massages for her feet, her hamstrings, and her quads.

In regards to healthy vocal cords, the reality TV star uses a humidifier to hydrate them. A specialty cup of tea also functions in that matter.

“You can injure yourself,” Ariana said of the dry winter heat wreaking havoc on her ability to sing.

One major takeaway from this fun video is how fresh and happy Ariana looks. Cheers to surviving all those early mornings.
