The news of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s split was a little surprising for us. That wasn’t the case for everyone. Nia Sanchez wasn’t shocked. The Valley star said that she saw this coming from a mile away.
The Bravo newbie opened up to Daily Mail about the split between her costars. Nia said she could see their relationship deteriorating when they were filming the show. With a front-row seat to the drama, Nia also revealed what it would take for the two of them to repair their marriage.
Nia tells all
According to Nia, Jax and Brittany “love each other very much.” However, she said there were a lot of factors that have been pulling them apart for years. When they finally announced their separation, Nia wasn’t surprised one bit.
She explained, “I wasn’t shocked that Brittany and Jax split and you can actually see the tension and issues with the two growing on the show week by week.”
If Nia could see the tension building behind the scenes, that probably means we’ll also see it build as the season progresses. Of course, when the news broke about Jax’s and Brittany’s separation, most people immediately assumed it was a publicity stunt. It seemed a little too perfectly timed with the series premiere of The Valley. Nia was adamant that this breakup was real.
She added, “People have to remember that this is their relationship. This is real life and every marriage has its issues. This is not just drama for a TV show.”
Ultimately, Nia said that Brittany and Jax are actively working on their issues. She’s a “fan of love” and wants to see them win. Will that happen? Only time will tell.
