The real estate battle between Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval over their shared home has raged on throughout Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. On one side, you have Sandoval who wants to keep the house and buy Ariana out of it. Ariana said that her ex was “psychotic” for even suggesting that.
As the feud continues, Tom has accused Ariana of not contributing to the house. He said she doesn’t clean and doesn’t pay for anything. During the VPR aftershow, Ariana refuted everything Tom said.
Fussing over furniture
According to Ariana, she paid for a good chunk of the furnishings in the house. She explained that when she presented a counteroffer for the house, she planned on including all of the furniture that she paid for. That’s a valuable offer, especially because it’s not like their furniture came from the clearance section at Walmart. They have nice stuff.
“In putting together my counteroffer for the purchase of the house, I am including all furniture that was purchased after moving in, you know, as part of decorating the house,” Ariana explained.
Meanwhile, Tom argued that Ariana’s offer didn’t make sense. He claimed that they both contributed towards the furniture in their shared home. In particular, he was hung up on a bespoke mirror that he’s very confident he paid for.
Regarding the counter-offer, Tom explained, “I don’t see the point if somebody’s going to keep the house, donating all this furniture, just giving it away…she was gonna take whatever she wanted, and then the rest gets donated.”
Ultimately, it’s unclear if any of this is going to matter for Ariana in the long run. Last month, we learned that she bought a $1.6 million home in Los Angeles. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an outdoor meditation deck. A new home calls for new furniture.
