Vanderpump Rules Quotes To Live By

For the past 11 years, Vanderpump Rules has graced our screens with some of the best petty drama a reality TV lover could ever hope for. The group of SUR employees had hopes of becoming the next best Hollywood star but instead were gifted with goat cheese balls. As time passed, some of the major hitters came out with their own quotes and words of affirmation to live by. While not every sentence muttered was a hit, some of the advice was as good as gold. With the Vanderpump Rules franchise possibly coming to a close, let’s take a look back on a few quotes that will forever live in infamy.

“You’re not important enough to hate”

Who could forget how much Stassi Schroder bad-mouthed Lisa Vanderpump and SUR after she fled the nest? But sadly, she had to come back and eat crow a short while later. While Stassi tried to thank Lisa for taking care of her sex tape debacle, the restaurateur had enough of her hollow words. The mother of two noted, “You’re not important enough to hate,” which sounded mean but was actually a pretty good life lesson.

This statement lives rent-free in my head whenever I meet someone who thinks they are more important than they are. I think Lisa’s point was showing that she was proud of her life and how hard she worked. And she wouldn’t let anyone take that joy away from her. Or spend a massive amount of time thinking about what someone else may think about her. It’s pointless. Just work on yourself and care about what you are doing.

“I’m not sure what I’ve done to you, but I’ll take a Pinot Grigio”

Even though I will always think of Stassi as a mean girl, this quote shows how unbothered she could be. And I liked that. Stassi and Scheana Shay were not getting along, but as Lisa’s guest, the blonde was afforded the opportunity to order from the table. When Scheana clapped back, “She knows where the bar is,” Stassi let the word slide right off her back.

I am in no denial that Stassi probably meant to make Scheana feel pretty low, but again, this quote is a great life lesson. Viewers learned that you aren’t going to always get along with everyone you meet or work with. And while you don’t have to be friends, you do have to learn to work together. With Stassi not overreacting, it showed she was in control.

“I am the devil, and don’t you forget it”

While I wouldn’t go around yelling, “I am the devil, and don’t you forget it,” on a daily basis, sometimes you have to make a statement to get your point across. There is a way to instill the fear of god into your boyfriend, and this sentiment keeps them on their toes. Jax Taylor was a rare breed of man who just loved to cheat. But Stassi was rarely going to be on the losing side of a war. So, she made sure that Jax knew who the Queen Bee was at all times. This quote gives “quiet rage” a whole new meaning as it empowers women everywhere.

“Hashtag: It’s all happening”

So many quotes, so little time. Keep the iconic #PumpRules moments coming in the comments…

With SUR being a slogan factory, narrowing down my top quotable quotes was hard. But this Scheana one has to be in my top tier, as I literally use it once a month. I do the arm motion and everything. It doesn’t matter what is going on in life, whether good or bad; the quote sticks.

“It’s my birthday”

Listen, everyone’s birthdays should be a pretty big deal. For all the bad that Stassi was at times, she did know how to ring in another year around the sun. This quote is one that everyone can use on their special day—it doesn’t matter how old you are. The quote taught me that each year should be a major celebration. So thank you, Stassi, for teaching us all the importance of our birthdays.
