This season on The Valley, stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are wading through their separation. Things have grown messy between the pair, as expected. However, Jax just surprised many by sticking up for Brittany, even though he keeps blaming her on their series for his rehab-related stays.
Does Jax Taylor think Brittany Cartwright used him for Vanderpump Rules fame?
Before moving to The Valley, Jax was a staple cast member on Vanderpump Rules. Here, Jax was not the best role model for men. Instead, he raged hard and cheated often, quickly becoming an unreliable narrator on this series. So, imagine everyone’s surprise in Season 4, where we all saw Jax introducing his cast to his newest girlfriend, Brittany, who willingly gave up her entire life in Kentucky to live in Los Angeles at his side.
Did Brittany genuinely love Jax? Or was Brittany dating this man solely for the fame aspect? As for the latter, this vicious claim has sounded for years. But now, Jax is shutting it down (mostly).
On the May 1 episode of his Podcast, In the Mind of Jax Taylor, a fan asked Jax if Brittany purposely sought him out solely to get on TV. In response, Jax noted that he gets “this question all the time.” And then, Jax gave us his answer, kinda.
“I want to say I hope not. Her mom knew who I was, but she told me she never knew who I was. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and say no, she didn’t know. I don’t think she would have done something like that … I don’t think she’s that kind of person.”
I will give his supportive answer a 7 out of 10, which is higher than the last score Jax snagged from Brittany. IYKYK.
