Are Vanderpump Rules alums Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz dating? The internet sure thinks so. However, as we all (hopefully) know, if you see something stated as a fact online, that does not immediately make it so.
Regardless, for weeks, headlines have speculated about this matter, wondering if Tom and Lala had turned their friendship into something a bit more intense. They are both single, and Lala is not exactly friendly with Katie Maloney, Tom’s ex-wife. Therefore, this pairing would not be as nefarious as other scandals have been in this genre. But what does Lala think?
Lala Kent was “dying” at the Tom Schwartz dating rumors
In a recent interview with Parents, Lala stressed that Tom is the “cool uncle” to her two young daughters. And even though they often sparred on VPR, Tom is now one of her closest friends, she added. Then, Lala cut to the chase, giving us the truth about whether or not she and Tom are now dating.
“Schwartz showed me [what people are claiming online] and I was dying at quotes” that state we have been spotted “all over LA together. I’m like, ‘I don’t leave this house,’” Lala laughed, having just given birth to her second child last September. Nevertheless, “Schwartz is one of my dearest friends,” Lala continued, noting that sometimes, “people want a fun thing to believe in and talk about. If I need to be on the receiving end of that with Tom Schwartz, then I’m in good company.”
So there you have it. Lala is not dating Tom. Furthermore, she is not dating anyone. Overall, as a single mother of two, her plates are full, so Lala does not “want [a relationship] right now.”
