Vanderpump Rules alum, Scheana Shay, might say her first wedding was memorable for all the wrong reasons. No, because of that two-piece wedding dress. But apparently, because it came with some unexpected party favors.
Scheana has kept fans talking recently with some fresh revelations from her new memoir, My Good Side. They include a long list of Hollywood hookups and her current husband, Brock Davies, cheating on her while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon.
Now that the book is out, a shocking moment from the first day of her first marriage came to light. Scheana wrote that on her wedding day to her now ex-husband, Michael “Shay” Shay, her VPR castmate Tom Sandoval gave the groom an ecstasy pill.

In My Good Side, Scheana claims that Tom, who was a groomsman, slipped Shay ecstasy during their wedding day celebrations.
“Back at the casita, as Shay was doing his thing, his eyes were completely glazed over, and he was unsteady on his feet, like he was about to fall down at any moment,” she wrote.
Scheana said she was “confused” at the time and didn’t know if he had been drinking. But the real answer came weeks later, during a visit to Sandoval’s house.
“We were at Tom’s house, and he offered us these little blue pills, which he said were Ecstasy. I’d never done Ecstasy before and immediately said I wasn’t interested,” she recalled.
That’s when Shay connected the dots. “Shay, appearing perplexed, said, ‘Wait, that looks like the pill you gave me at the wedding. I thought it was Adderall.’ We were both in shock.”
According to Scheana, her ex didn’t mean to party hard on their big night. “Shay didn’t intend to get f*cked-up that night. He just wanted an Adderall to stay up later,” she wrote. “Of course, I couldn’t help but wonder why Shay had to take anything at all, even Adderall.”
Sandoval hasn’t commented on the claim.
Scheana filed for divorce from Shay in 2016 after his alleged struggles with addiction and emotional infidelity. But, at least she got an alliterative, longstanding stage name out of the ordeal.
