It’s been a minute since Meghan King and her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, were in the news. The Real Housewives of Orange County alums’ messy divorce and custody battle kept them in the headlines. It was a new level of nasty and petty. Now, Meghan is involved in a legal tangle with Jim and his wife, Kortnie Edmonds.
Meghan griped about the fact that her children with Jim didn’t receive an invite when Jim wed Kortnie. The couple tied the knot in an extravagant destination wedding in Italy. Although Jim has seven kids in total, it seems as if none of them snagged invites. That is still kind of … odd.
A court document was shared on social media about RHOC alum Meghan King
Meghan periodically hopped back into the spotlight, like when she dissed Alexis Bellino’s new man, John Janssen. However, now she has veered back into the legal lane with Jim. Bravo_Boo shared a court document via Instagram and some alleged details of what happened.
Reportedly, Meghan went to Jim’s house in Missouri and entered. “Jim and the kids were not there,” Bravo_Boo wrote on the post. “Kortnie had her leave and locked door. She tried to get in [three] more times.”
Bravo_Boo continued, “She was detained in the yard by police. Police [were] going to charge her for trespassing. [Jim] and [Kortnie] decided to go legal route and get a protection order against her.”
The “full order of protection was granted” on June 5, 2025, according to the court document. The order against Meghan will end on June 5, 2026. According to the order, “Neither party shall be within 150 ft of each other at respondent’s children’s activities,” and Meghan is barred from “[mentioning] petitioner’s name in/on social media.” Meanwhile, Meghan’s name was misspelled on the court order.
