The split between Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers has been incredibly messy. New accusations are flying from every direction. I think this split will go down in Bravo history as one of the nastiest that we have seen.
According to new court documents, Aaron alleged that Denise never filed the adoption papers that he signed for their 14-year-old daughter, Eloise Richards. As you may recall, Denise adopted Eloise when she was a baby. Aaron decided to adopt Eloise one year after he married Denise.
Now, Denise is speaking out and sharing her feelings about these disturbing events.
Denise Richards “never” thought she would divorce Aaron Phypers
Denise posted a video to her Instagram, giving an update to her fans. “I was just checking in to see how your summer’s been going. Mine’s been wonderful. It’s actually been sh*tty, but I’m going to pretend like it’s all good,” she said. Denise added that she was tired of pretending that all was well.
The RHOBH alum continued, “I see all of your messages. I can’t comment because it’ll be taken out and put in the press, but I just wanted to, in all seriousness, say that this has been a very, very, very difficult time.” Denise added, “It’s so hard to go through a divorce.”
Then the actress noted that this is her second divorce. She was previously married to actor Charlie Sheen. “I never thought I’d get divorced again,” Denise stated. “This is why I always say never say never.”
She continued, “Circumstances around my divorce that are difficult to talk about – which one day I will talk about it when the timing is right.” Then Denise thanked her followers and fans for their support. “I really just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your supportive, kind, thoughtful, encouraging messages because this has been a very difficult time.”
