Once again, Vanderpump Rules alums Scheana Shay and Lala Kent are on the outs. This duo was so close that Lala bought the house next to Scheana’s home. However, it seems that Scheana’s memoir, My Good Side, caused some trouble between the besties.
Scheana took issue with the fact that Lala didn’t post enough about her book on social media. Plus, she sent her a PR box. After Scheana allegedly heard crickets, she was upset. However, Lala has a different take on the situation, and it varies quite a bit from her Pump Rules co-star’s story. It’s all very interesting.
Lala Kent calls out Scheana Shay’s recent comments on their friendship
During a recent episode of her podcast, Untraditionally Lala, the mom of two explained her side. “Scheana and I are in a very strange place. I love her; she’s like family. I am very disappointed on how she has gone about certain things.”
Lala added, “She said it ‘put friendships into perspective’ based on who posted her book.” The VPR alum continued that Scheana didn’t discuss how Lala supported her when she was going through tough times. Plus, Lala sent her a message, congratulating her on her book making The New York Times’ Bestseller list.
Lala said, “And I wanna shake her at times” because she has had to “own my part in a lot of situations.” She continued, “And my friendship to you should not be based on if I posted your book in the proper timeline. You’re setting me up for failure every time, and let me be very clear, y’all. I posted the book.” Lala added, “She’s upset that I didn’t post it in the proper timeline.”
Meanwhile, Lala has reportedly been filming for Season 3 of The Valley, while Scheana has not. Originally, Scheana was thought to definitely be part of the show’s third season. Stay tuned!
