Season 4 of The Traitors features five Bravo housewives. That is a lot of chaotic energy in the castle! Of course, Real Housewives of Potomac alum Candiace Dillard Bassett’s once settled feud with Porsha Williams was somehow reignited. Originally, the ladies were squabbling because Porsha sided with Monique Samuels amid Monique’s physical altercation with Candiace on RHOP.
Was the cause of their new beef a banishing, or possibly a traitorous murder? Could idle gossip in the Scottish Highlands have caused Porsha and Candiace to fall out again? Well, buckle up, because Candiace is spilling the reason why she was upset with Porsha.
Candiace Dillard Bassett took issue with comments made by Porsha Williams
Candiace previously revealed that she unfollowed Porsha, who is part of Real Housewives of Atlanta cast. And she shared the reason on her podcast, Undomesticated. “Before Traitors – the reason I unfollowed her is because I wasn’t really keeping up with the Atlanta Housewives of it all, but of course, I’m very active on socials. I see clips. I see the highlights,” Candiace explained.
Then, Candiace shared that Porsha’s comment during Season 16 of RHOA, about having sex with Angela Oakley’s husband, Charles Oakley, was the turning point. “I’ve said stuff that’s hit the cutting room floor that they need to just air that I’ve said on cast trips,” Candiace remarked. “You say crazy things on cast trips, and crazy things happen on cast trips.”
The singer continued, “But I saw the clip of her [and] I said, What? Who on God’s green ghetto earth would ever fix their mouth to use as a threat, as a woman, ‘I’m going to sleep with your husband,’ as a form of retaliation?” Apparently Porsha!
Candiace stated, “We’re using adultery as a form of punishment. It blew my mind because I know, as we all do, the perils of Porsha’s love life. We’ve seen her come up from the bowels of what’s his name,” she added, referencing Porsha’s ex-husband, Simon Guobadia.
