Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was intense for Kyle Richards. The OG cast member weathered a separation from her longtime husband, Mauricio Umansky. She also tried to keep her friendship with singer Morgan Wade off the show. Plus, she was feuding with bestie, Dorit Kemsley. It was … a lot.
So, there were reports ahead of Season 15 that Kyle was “flip-flopping” about returning to RHOBH. There were also claims that Kyle wanted to end her time on the show on a high note. Unfortunately, Season 14 wasn’t that type of season for Kyle.
Kyle Richards says she’s been on RHOBH “a long time”
Kyle previously characterized the upcoming season as “stressful.” Plus, the ladies visited Italy, where their trip apparently took a wrong turn. “Yeah, it was very intense as far as Housewives go,” Kyle said of the trip. “Very, very.”
Recently, Kyle reflected on her time on RHOBH and what her future looks like. She noted that the “day obviously will come” when she will exit the franchise. “It’s been a long time. 15 years. It really is,” Kyle told PEOPLE. “I don’t know how long this can go on, how long I can go on for.”
The actress also admitted that there were times when she nearly departed RHOBH. “I think Season 2, Season 5,” Kyle stated. “I can think of a number of seasons where I almost walked away. But 15 years is a long time, and there’s things I want to do, and it takes up a lot of time.” She added, “And Portia [Umansky] is going to college, so who knows.” Let that sink in. We first met Portia as a spunky toddler. WOW.
Of course, it remains to be seen if Season 15 will be Kyle’s final season. It sounds like she might be ready to move on and turn in her diamond.
