Real Housewives of New Jersey fans may not know anything about casting for the show, but we are hearing more about the reconciliation heard around the Bravoverse. Teresa Giudice’s decision to sit down with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, to make peace was shocking.
After all, Teresa previously cut off all ties with Joe and Melissa after years of feuding. Plus, there were rumors that Teresa’s hubby, Luis Ruelas, pushed the idea of a reunion as a way to secure his wife’s place on RHONJ. And the paycheck that comes along with it.
Teresa Giudice is taking baby steps with Joe and Melissa Gorga
Page Six reported that Teresa spoke to the hosts of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast about whether her reconciliation with her brother was just to keep her job. The timing was definitely convenient. “Ask my brother,” Teresa responded, noting that Joe “knows her so well.” Teresa continued, “My brother, especially, knows I hold grudges. So if I let this go, it’s real.”
She added, “And I think Melissa – she’s been in my life for 22 years – she knows me really well, too.” Teresa also shared that she and Melissa have been texting, and that Melissa actually called to request that Teresa unblock her on Instagram. Plus, Melissa and Joe popped by Teresa’s table at BravoCon, where she was signing merchandise. The Gorgas posed for photos with Luis, Teresa, and Gia Giudice, Teresa’s eldest daughter.
Meanwhile, Teresa previously shared some details about the meeting with Joe and Melissa. “It went well. Baby steps, but yeah, I’m glad it went well,” she explained.
However, there may still be some tension with the other RHONJ cast members. Reportedly, during BravoCon, Luis and Teresa stayed in a separate hotel from the rest of the Jersey cast. An insider claimed, “Regardless of the reunion between her and Joe and Melissa Gorga, tensions are still present.”
