We didn’t see this one coming. Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent just announced a new podcast with actress Ambyr Childers. You might know her from shows like You and Ray Donovan. Bravo fans know her because she happens to be the ex-wife of Lala’s former fiancé, Randall Emmett. For good reason, this new podcast is called An Unlikely Affair.
Lala Kent and Ambyr Childers once feuded
Pump Rules fans will recall that Lala and Ambyr have a complicated past. Not only do they share an ex, but they both have kids with him. They’re forever bonded, and in the teaser episode of the just-announced podcast, they wasted no time diving into it.
“You were the wife. I was the mistress,” Lala admitted. “It is what it is.”
Ambyr had two kids with Randall before they divorced. Lala had one daughter with Randall. The three of them went through co-parenting hell, and it played out in the public eye. However, things changed when Lala and Randall broke up.
“I f*cking love you now,” Ambyr told Lala in the teaser.
Now, the duo teamed up with iHeartPodcasts to launch An Unlikely Affair, which falls under the umbrella of Lala’s recently rebranded show, Untraditionally Lala. It won’t replace her current show. Instead, Lala explained that it’s a place where she and Ambyr can connect about motherhood. She said they plan on keeping it real about how life can sometimes be “messy.” They’re living proof of it.
“In ‘An Unlikely Affair,’ two women who never imagined being in the same room come together to co-host a podcast no one expected, especially them,” the podcast description teased. “So what happens when an ex-wife and the mistress find friendship and join forces?”
An Unlikely Affair with Lala Kent and Ambyr Childers premieres on January 8, 2026.
