This news will be a little shocking for Vanderpump Rules fans, but Lisa Vanderpump managed to make it through a whole conversation about Kristen Doute without saying anything shady. Seriously! She recently appeared on Tom Schwartz’s Detox Retox podcast, and she wished Kristen nothing but the best. Is it a holiday miracle, or proof that time heals all wounds?
Lisa Vanderpump wishes Kristen Doute well and throws no shade
Pump Rules fans know that Lisa has long held a mysterious disdain towards Kristen. She fired her from SUR, but then, years later, she still didn’t like her.
Their latest drama happened after Kristen announced her pregnancy. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star made a dig, asking if Kristen knew who the father was. Not nice.
After that, Kristen said she wanted an apology from her former boss, and although that’s probably not coming anytime soon, LVP’s appearance on Tom’s podcast might be the next best thing. When asked about Kristen, she admitted that they didn’t have the best relationship, but she wished her the best.
“Kristen, I’ve never had a great relationship with I’m being honest about that, Lisa admitted. “You know, she was always very complicated, but I have, on any occasion that I’ve been asked about Kristen, wished her well.”
Lisa continued, “She’s a new mother, and she’s growing up, so that’s really good to see that there’s progress and she’s in a happier place, and she’s got a lovely baby, so that’s fantastic.”
So, not quite an apology, but that’s pretty damn close, some think. Right? Either way, it’s not like Kristen and LVP are going to be meeting up for drinks anytime soon. Lisa has a new crew of SURvers driving her crazy these days.
