Jillian Michaels will never be welcomed back on Watch What Happens Live, if Andy Cohen has anything to do with it.
The Bravo network host called out the fitness trainer for her diva behavior in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly. Andy talked to the outlet about the most outrageous moments in the show’s 17-year history. The former Biggest Loser host turned conservative commentator appeared on the show 13 years ago, and left a terrible taste in the mouth of the TV personality, who is very used to feisty reality TV stars.
Andy Cohen says Jillian Michaels screamed at WWHL staff
Jillian appeared once on Watch What Happens Live back in 2013, and it looks like it won’t be a repeat.
Andy was not a fan of her demeanor as a featured guest, particularly how she left the Bravo studio. “[Jillian] was furious. I should watch it back, if I cared,” Andy quipped to Entertainment Weekly. More sincerely, he added, “I don’t see what she was upset about.”
“She left and she was screaming at my staff. And if you scream at my staff, that’s kind of it for me,” Andy declared.
The TV personality also called out Jillian’s recent comments about slavery while defending President Trump. Jillian said the history of slavery had been racialized, and white people were unfairly blamed for the 400-year enslavement of people of African descent in the United States.
“She seems to be the leading expert on slavery somehow,” Andy joked. “I don’t think there’s a market for that,” he added. “By the way, I don’t think she would come.”
Additionally, Andy is not the only person on TV to call out Jillian on her cruelty. Recently, The Biggest Loser, which ran on NBC from 2004 to 2016, received newfound attention in the Netflix docuseries Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser.
Former contestants on the weight loss reality show found Jillian’s methods to be cruel and unhelpful in long-term weight loss. The documentary also highlighted her controversial supplementation of caffeine pills to her team’s contestants. Her former co-host Bob Harper also criticized his old friend for not getting in touch after his near-fatal heart attack.
