Andy Cohen and Lisa Rinna have a “complicated” relationship. But when Lisa appeared on Watch What Happens Live, Andy was thankful.
In 2023, Andy published his memoir, Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up. In the book, he disclosed personal texts with Rinna. Producers also blasted her resignation email from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during the Season 13 premiere. Naturally, Lisa hated both of these decisions.
In her memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, Lisa called Andy out. “It was so shady, so Andy, so Bravo, so unnecessary. After I read it, I was so mad, I threw his book in my fireplace and watched it burn gleefully,” she penned. Only a few days later, Lisa appeared in front of Andy on WWHL.

Andy “apologized” for publishing Lisa’s texts. Lisa laughed and shaded Andy back. “It was so beautiful to watch your book go up in flames. Andy, really, it’s an honor. That I would burn your book is kind of an honor,” she joked.
Andy said, “It is very clear to me that you have a very complicated relationship with the housewives and a little bit with me as a result of that.” He continued, “You know, I have to tell you something. And I have to thank you because what I realized is that you showed up for me on two of the most important days of my life.”
First, Lisa brought her “hype master” energy to his baby shower in 2019. “You did that. And nobody asked you to do it. It was incredible, and I will never forget it,” he stressed.
Second, Lisa attended Andy’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony in 2022. “You were filming that day, you had just come back from Aspen, you were grieving the loss of your mom. You sat with my mom at that lunch afterward, and I just want to thank you. You showed up for me on two very important days, and that is not lost on me. I really appreciate that, and I’ll never forget it,” Andy said.
It “was my absolute pleasure,” Lisa responded.
