On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen mentioned a name that made Craig Conover grimace. This name belonged to one of his male costars on Southern Charm. But thankfully, there was no beef between Craig and this man. Instead, Craig just happened to be confused.
Craig got confused about Whitner Slagsvol on WWHL
Following the season finale of Southern Charm Season 11, Craig, Shep Rose, and Austen Kroll appeared on WWHL. These three men were in great spirits, which is shocking, since two of these gents have been at each other’s throats all season. Nevertheless, Andy was curious what they each thought about one of their new costars. And, not shockingly, all of them had positive things to say, even though, at first, Craig’s face failed to match his words.
To explain, Andy simply asked, “Are you guys happy that Whitner [Slagsvol] is in the crowd?” Andy was referring to Whitner’s presence on this series. But Craig took him literally and immediately looked confused, with a side of yikes.
Thankfully, Austen knew what Andy meant. So, as Austen spoke, the lights finally came on for Craig. “I think that Whitner is like,” Austen began. But then, addressing his own confusion, Craig interjected with a laugh, admitting, “Oh, I was like, what?”
As everyone laughed, Andy clarified, “No, he’s not in this crowd. No, like, he’s on the show.”
Once their laughter subsided, Austen picked up his proverbial talking stick and finished his sentence. According to this Trop Hop creator, Whitner consistently called, texted, and showed up, actively trying “to be part of the group. And it’s refreshing.”
