As The Real Housewives of New Jersey prepares to finally begin filming Season 15, those on the inside are already spilling tea.
According to one source, “The head producer … is ‘Team Teresa Giudice,’ as he was Teresa’s producer back in the day.”
“It’s going to be the Teresa show,” they added. “It will be based all around her and the restaurant her daughter Gia [Giudice] is opening.”

Now that the show has settled on a cast, the insider wondered why production didn’t go a different route. With only Teresa, Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania returning, they questioned the need for a reboot.
“It would have made [more] sense to give Teresa a spin-off show,” the source told Reality Blurb. “She has legions of dedicated fans who, of course, would have watched her on her own program. Then they could have kept Margaret [Josephs], Dolores, and Melissa on RHONJ.”
Furthermore, the insider suggested there won’t be much authentic drama, since the new cast members have so little history with the OGs. They were also concerned that the season could mirror what happened in RHONJ Season 6. If you recall, production brought in three newbies from South Jersey, but the new girls never quite fit in.
“It’s going to be a situation like Amber Marchese and the twins,” the insider said. “The show will be a bomb.”
Though the source thought Amber was a “good Housewife” and should have returned for another season, she was let go. And if Season 15 doesn’t go well, there could be another cast turnover.
“Even if the new girls fight, who cares?” they asked. “We don’t know them.” Theoretically, the new women could fight with Teresa [and probably will], but that may not be what viewers want either.
Meanwhile, if things don’t go well, production may need to bring back some familiar faces. “It’s very much like when The Real Housewives of New York did their rebrand,” they noted. “No one has authentic connections.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 15 is expected to begin filming sometime in the late spring of 2026.
